Directed by Zack Snyder, who also directed Dawn of the Dead, I felt there was more the flavor of Frank Miller (graphic novel author of 300 and Sin City) than Synder. I felt that I was caught somewhere in the land of animated storyboards. Frame after frame Snyder and DP, Fong brought the graphic novel to life with beautiful angles and lighting.
